Ciao amici! My name is Jared Smith, but most people call me Marco (it’s a fun story)! I am a junior majoring in microbiology with a minor in Italian. I started college just hoping to travel to Italy, but in a short time, I fell in love with the language, the culture, and the country! After I studied abroad in Italy, it was all over and now I’m the President of the Italian Club! Please feel free to ask me anything, or just to talk to me (especially about food)!

The Italian Club is something that lets me dive deeper into this amazing culture/language outside of the classroom!

Ciao!! My name is Seven, and I started taking Italian classes as a freshman. I jumped on the opportunity to study abroad in Bologna, Italy the summer before my sophomore year, which ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Immersing myself in a new country was gratifying, surreal, and life changing! I can’t wait to see where I’ll go next!
